Dr Noris Ioannou
Executive Director

Cultural historian, consultant and writer, Noris is the author of seven major books on Australian visual arts and crafts, cultural heritage and multiculturalism. His diverse professional experience includes an Honorary Fellowship in History at Flinders University, regular lecturing in Cultural Tourism and Applied History at Flinders University and the University of Adelaide, a number of writers’ residencies and curating more than ten major visual art exhibitions. He has sat on the Civic Trust of South Australia Board, been a Peer Advisor for the Australia Council, a Member of the State Heritage Authority and past President of the Association of Professional Historians SA. A 1996 Churchill Fellow, he is currently on the Churchill Fellowship Selection Committee. Noris is also a painter and enjoys working on conservation projects, especially revegetation with native plants.


Tamzin Buchan
Administrator

Having worked with the artist run Downtown Art Space since 2006, Tamzin has a passionate interest in local, national and international contemporary visual arts. Tamzin's background in arts administration includes Coordinator of the 2004 South Australian Living Artists Festival, Treasurer and Bookkeeper with Downtown and volunteer roles with The Adelaide Festival, Womadelaide and The Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia. With a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Art History and Theory) and a Diploma of Accounting, Tamzin brings an informed eye to the art of financial management. She also enjoys making and watching experimental film, dancing, baking cupcakes and playing tambourine.


Andrew Dundon
Performing Arts & Events Coordinator

Over the past 12 years, Andrew has gained extensive experience in the arts sector, as a performer, artist manager, gallery curator and event producer. From 2003-06 Andrew was co-owner of Fad Bar & Gallery, in 2005-07 he worked with the YHA Peace Festival and was Art-On-Site Coordinator at Woodford Folk Festival for 2007/08. Most recently, Andrew created and produced the now annual blues event, The Juke Joint at Queens.


Damasque Wells
Office & Volunteer Coordinator

Damasque has a strong background in arts administration, working at Country Arts SA for several years in roles such as Grants Management and Arts Programs Administration Officer. Most recently, Damasque was Arts & Community Cultural Development Officer with Country Arts SA and the Rural City of Murray Bridge. Passionate about Visual Arts, Damasque has an Advanced Diploma in Visual Arts & Applied Design in Ceramics/Pottery and has also studied photography, illustration and jewellery. She is currently developing new ceramics and illustration projects and looks forward to exhibiting in the future.


Caitlin Hall
Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Caitlin comes from a strong film and television background, and has worked in the multicultural media sector for the past few years. A Flinders University graduate, Caitlin completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Film and Television Producing at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2006. Following a marketing internship at SevenOne International, an international television agency based in Munich, Germany, Caitlin took up a position as Marketing Coordinator with SBS Television in Sydney. Having recently moved back to her hometown of Adelaide, Caitlin is excited about making the shift into Arts marketing with an organisation that promotes cultural diversity.
